Customer Service Specialist, Technical (Plastic Polymer)

A well-established manufacturer (generated with more than $1.6B in revenue) who produces speciality chemical to various industry.

Summary

To handle the product application testing, interpret the performance data and pass the technical report to customers across the Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers, provide formulation support and attend trials.
  • To collaborate with R&D, Marketing and Sales in the introduction of a new product.
  • Participate in regional trade shows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ of technical support experience
  • Degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge in Plastics applications and the ability to operate machinery
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel across the Asia Pacific
  • Willing to relocate and work in Kuantan
